Save Our Mangroves Now

I work as an otter conservationist to reverse the decline of mangrove habitats in Vietnam and across the globe to restore biodiversity, protect livelihoods, and mitigate against the impacts of the climate  crisis. Why mangroves matter - Superheroes of biodiversity Survival artists, nature’s kindergarten, climate savers – mangroves are versatile superheroes. They are habitat and nursery for over 3000 fish species, can store 3 to 5 times more carbon per area than tropical upland forests, and provide livelihoods for over 120 million people. But this unique ecosystem is under threat: more than a third of all mangrove forests have disappeared since the mid-20th century due to agriculture, logging, and urbanization. Không phải đất nước nào cũng có phong tục đón Tết như Việt Nam

Trên thế giới đều có những phong tục tập quán và văn hoá khác nhau, đón năm mới cũng không ngoại lệ. Họ có những cách đón năm mới độc đáo. Dưới đây là 8 phong tục đón Tết kì lạ của các đất nước khác nhau.

Canada

Nói đến đêm giao thừa thì ai cũng nghĩ là gia đình, bạn bè cùng nhau quây quần tập hợp lại ăn uống với nhau. Nhưng ở canada thì lại khác, họ tụ tập rủ nhau đi câu cá trên sông băng. Người dân dựng lên 1 cái lều nhỏ và khoan 1 cái lỗ nhỏ trên băng để câu cá. 

Columbia

Đây có lẽ là 1 truyền thống khá lạ đối với những ai không biết về Columbia nhiều. Họ đi bộ quanh khu nhà với 1 chiếc vali rỗng tượng trưng cho một năm đầy phiêu lưu. 

Phần Lan

Cách họ đón năm mới nghe giống như là bốc thăm bởi vì họ đưa một thiếc nóng chảy vào một thay nước sau đó họ sẽ đoán hình của kim loại đó. Hình trái tim tượng trưng cho một đám cưới, con tàu cho việc đi du lịch và hình con lợn tượng trưng cho một năm đầy ấm no. 

Tây Ban Nha

Ở đây người dân có phong tục là khi còn 12 giây chuẩn bị sang năm mới thì họ sẽ ăn từng quả nho tượng trưng cho 12 năm đầy may mắn. Họ cho rằng ai ăn không kịp có thể sẽ đối mặt những tháng xui xẻo. 


Đan Mạch

Những người không hiểu rõ về Đan mạch thì nghĩ họ rất là sang vì chào mừng năm mới họ sẽ ném đĩa, ly vào nhà người thân, bạn bè để thể hiện tình cảm và mang lại nhiều may mắn. Họ tin là trước cửa nhà nào vỡ càng nhiều đĩa, ly thì sẽ mang càng nhiều may mắn. 

Hy Lạp

Hành Tây được coi như biểu tượng của sự tái sinh nên hàng năm họ thường treo hành Tây ngay trước nhà. Họ dùng hành tây đập vào đầu con của họ vào đêm giao thừa để biểu thị. 

Brazil

Nghe có vẻ hơi thô tục nhưng người brazil cho là may mắn sẽ đến khi mang những bộ đồ lót đặc biệt và là màu đỏ và màu vàng, tượng trưng cho ý nghĩa có tình yêu thương và tiền bạc vào năm mới.

Philippines

Phong tục ở Philippines nghe rất là phổ biến ở nhiều nơi. Họ bày những trái cây có hình tròn, có ý nghĩa là tiền xu. Càng nhiều trái cây hình tròn thì càng thịnh vượng hoặc là họ sẽ mặc đồ có chấm bị tròn để cầu may.
