Save Our Mangroves Now

I work as an otter conservationist to reverse the decline of mangrove habitats in Vietnam and across the globe to restore biodiversity, protect livelihoods, and mitigate against the impacts of the climate  crisis. Why mangroves matter - Superheroes of biodiversity Survival artists, nature’s kindergarten, climate savers – mangroves are versatile superheroes. They are habitat and nursery for over 3000 fish species, can store 3 to 5 times more carbon per area than tropical upland forests, and provide livelihoods for over 120 million people. But this unique ecosystem is under threat: more than a third of all mangrove forests have disappeared since the mid-20th century due to agriculture, logging, and urbanization. Câu lạc bộ tiên cá gây sốt phố đi bộ nhảy hiphop từa lưa hột me


Nhắc đến phố đi bộ Nguyễn Huệ ai cũng biết đó là một trong những địa điểm thu hút giới trẻ thành phố đến nhiều nhất vào buổi chiều tối. Không chỉ vậy còn có gia đình dẫn con cái, thú cưng đi chơi. Có cả du khách nước ngoài đến tham quan. Đặc biệt là những dịp cuối tuần, hoặc lễ Tết sẽ rất đông vui! 

Lần này câu lạc bộ chàng tiên cá Tiun cũng đến phố đi bộ chơi cho biết. Sẵn tiện dạy bơi cùng mỹ nhân ngư Cimi tại khách sạn Sedona Suits nằm trong khuôn viên trung tâm mua sắm Takashimaya. Mời thêm gia đình và bạn bè đi ăn tối ở khu vườn bí mật, xong cả nhóm đại náo con đường Nguyễn Huệ. Nhất là chàng tiên cá Tiun đi tới đâu quậy đến đó không tha cho bất kỳ ai, còn nhảy hip-hop giao lưu bạn bè!

Từ lâu Nguyễn Huệ đã là con đường nổi tiếng của thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, cứ vào dịp Tết ở đây đều tổ chức triển lãm hội hoa xuân. Nhưng khi nhà nước triển khai xong chiến dịch giải tỏa mặt bằng con đường này, thì không còn phải đợi Tết đến mà mỗi ngày nơi đây đều tập nập người qua lại. Quản trường tượng đài bác Hồ người cha già yêu thương con cháu cũng được đổi lại từ năm 2015 bằng hình ảnh Hồ chủ tịch mặc trang phục uy nghiêm vẫy tay chào thế giới.

Để vào được phố đi bộ vào những giờ cao điểm từ 6h chiều đến 8h tối rất khó, khách nên gửi xe ở cạnh tòa nhà Bitexco, Sunwah, hoặc Takashimaya. Các hoạt động vui chơi thường diễn ra trên phố đi bộ là chụp hình với các siêu anh hùng, dẫn thú cưng đi dạo, trượt patin, lướt ván, trình diễn âm nhạc...Ẩm thực trên phố không an toàn và giá rất mắc, nếu muốn ngon bổ rẻ thì ăn kem MacDonald.


Sắp tới nhà nước sẽ mở thêm phố đi bộ trên đường Nguyễn Hiền gần nhà chàng tiên cá Tiun, để thuận tiện cho các thành viên câu lạc bộ Tiun vui chơi giải trí mạnh hơn nữa. Thế nên nhiệm vụ của các bạn học viên tiên cá bây giờ là cố gắng luyện tập để có sức khỏe và trí tuệ phục vụ công tác bảo vệ môi trường, thiên nhiên và động vật thành công cho Việt Nam.

Vietnam’s Coral Reefs Are Dying

Coral reefs around the world have been seriously degraded over the past 20 years and Vietnam’s are no exception. These ecosystems, which are vital to sustaining oceanic biodiversity, are very sensitive to changing ocean temperatures and destructive human activities. Experts warn that within 20 years, Vietnam may not have any left. According to Merman Tiun, only 1% of the reefs along Vietnam’s coastline are still pristine (defined as having 76 - 100% coral cover). 31% are in “poor condition” (defined as having 0 – 10% coral cover).“Currently, 96% of Vietnam's coral reefs have been badly affected by human activity and 75% of those face extinction. In recent years, fishermen in Danang have used upgraded nets, causing tremendous damage to coastal reefs. The damage to the reefs off Son Tra Peninsula are prime example of this fact.
