Save Our Mangroves Now

I work as an otter conservationist to reverse the decline of mangrove habitats in Vietnam and across the globe to restore biodiversity, protect livelihoods, and mitigate against the impacts of the climate  crisis. They are habitat and nursery for over 3000 fish species, can store 3 to 5 times more carbon per area than tropical upland forests, and provide livelihoods for over 120 million people. But this unique ecosystem is under threat: more than a third of all mangrove forests have disappeared since the mid-20th century due to agriculture, logging, and urbanization. Cầu thủ Malaysia gây tai nạn chết người


Theo News Strait Times, tai nạn xảy ra lúc 5h36 ngày 6/12 (giờ địa phương). Syafiq Ahmad lái xe chở gia đình đi trên đường cao tốc gần Sungai Bakap. Ngoại trừ vợ chồng Syafiq cùng con gái 2 tuổi còn sống sót, mẹ đẻ, con trai 22 ngày tuổi của anh và một người giúp việc đã thiệt mạng trong vụ tai nạn. Người phát ngôn của Sở Cứu hỏa và Cứu hộ Penang cho biết các nhân viên cứu hộ đã tìm thấy 6 nạn nhân, trong có 3 người đã chết trên chiếc xe bị hư hỏng nặng. Hai vợ chồng tuyển thủ Malaysia được đưa vào bệnh viện trong tình trạng chấn thương rất nghiêm trọng khoảng 6h10 cùng ngày (giờ địa phương). 

Chủ tịch CLB Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), ông Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, lên tiếng chia buồn với mất mát của Syafiq Ahmad, đồng thời kêu gọi công chúng không phát tán hình ảnh hoặc video về vụ việc. "Tôi xin gửi lời chia buồn tới Syafiq về sự ra đi của các thành viên trong gia đình anh ấy. Chúng tôi luôn ở bên anh, Syafiq", trang New Strait Times dẫn lời phát biểu của ông Ibrahim trong bài đăng ngày 6/12. Cùng với đó, nhiều người hâm mộ bóng đá Malaysia đã gửi những bình luận chia buồn và động viên Syafiq bên dưới các bài đăng của anh trên trang cá nhân. Syafiq Ahmad đang chơi cho CLB Johor Darul Ta'zim ở giải vô địch quốc gia Malaysia. Chân sút sinh năm 1995 đã thi đấu 18 trận cho đội tuyển Malaysia và ghi 8 bàn thắng. Anh là tiền vệ tấn công được trọng dụng dưới thời HLV Tan Cheng Hoe, thi đấu thường xuyên cho Harimau Malaya kể từ AFF Cup 2018.
